Where to Stay

Bloomington offers all types of accommodations, from hotels and motels, inns, and bed & breakfasts, to private guest cabins, lakeside camping, and even a horse camp. Many are conveniently located near the symposium site. For complete listings visit the Bloomington/Monroe County Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Primitive camping is available at the symposium site free of charge for all participants. Potable water and portable sanitary facilities will be furnished.

Camp sites with electrical hookups, picnic tables, and modern restrooms and shower facilities are available at McCormick’s Creek State Park, just a few miles west of the Symposium site. The park has an Olympic size swimming pool, tennis courts, fishing, hiking trails and more. A fee is charged. http://www.mccormickscreekstatepark.com/index.htm
