Ashley Mullis

Ashley is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, drawing, sculpture, and fiber arts. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts, and her work is defined by a deep respect for craftsmanship, material understanding, and traditional technique. Beyond her studio practice, Ashley operates her own art business, where she offers classes and workshops and creates commissioned works tailored to clients’ individual visions.
Ashley is also committed to arts education in broader community settings. This will be her second year teaching stone carving with the Indiana Limestone Symposium. Her instruction emphasizes technical precision, thoughtful design, and safe, effective tool use, encouraging students to develop confidence and a refined sculptural practice. Whether teaching, creating commissions, or pursuing her own artistic projects, Ashley prioritizes quality, curiosity, and a strong connection between maker, material, and final form.
